Ohio Makes Sexting Illegal

Ohio joins a growing number of states trying to address "sexting" among teenagers.  Under federal law the sending of explicit material the contains minors-even if it is a minor sending a picture of themselves to a peer is considered the production and distribution of child pornography.  The punishment can be a permanent label as a sex offender.  A bill passed in Ohio would allow for another lesser charge but one that be put on their juvenile records with an appropriate punishment.
